New York City. I am again enjoying my stay in this city. If you ever want to come here I have a few things to recommend. Of course shopping is great (and I did find some nice pieces in the last few days) but there’s lots more to see and to do. We chose to stay downtown this time, which was a very good decision. It‘s less touristic and a little bit more quiet (if you can ever say that about Manhatten…) than staying somewhere in Midtown near Times Square. Besides all the regular sights here (Times Square, Central Park, Broadway, Museums, China Town …) I would definitely recommend to walk around Greenwich for at least half a day, it’s beautiful and very interesting. Today we finally rented a car and drove all the way up to the Hamptons. The beaches are wonderful and Long Island is always worth a visit. But watch out for traffic jam and carefully consider on which day and at what time you want to go.

Welcome to the Lake

Yesterday we arrived in Michigan, it’s wonderful to be back here and see family and friends. Inspired by the beautiful area and the wonderful Lake Huron I got  a little matchy matchy on my blue accessories…

Yesterday evening I enjoyed a nice walk in a wonderful part of Hamburg. Blankenese is one of Hamburgs suburbs right next to the Elbe river. Although we were pretty exhausted by climbing all the stairs (Blankenese is located on a hill), it’s absolutely worth the view! My casual jersey dress, which I bought months ago in London, was the perfect summer evening outfit.
